Thank you! No one said the MKV will come from the factory with 1000hp. E46 M3’s were making 1000hp years ago with aftermarket support....like you said, big turbo’s, fuel systems, etc... Those motors (just like the 2JZ) had to upgrade their internals to handle 1000hp. Even MKIV owners today...

It took many many years for the 2JZ to reach 1000hp because the aftermarket and technology was still in its infancy with the 6 cylinder engines....especially foreign 6 cylinder engines. There has been sooo many advancements made since the 2JZ’s time for big HP, that even 4 cylinder Subaru’s are...

I don’t think it will be for millionaires....I think it will be for folks in the GT350R, Demon, GT500, etc... bracket. You gotta pay to play bud, the MKIV TT 6spd was no economy priced car back in the day either. It will be worth it....I think so ;).

Yep... Now remember, Tada did say that one of the biggest factors was transmission feel. I am sure there will be some sacrificing of "refinement" for strength and durability. I mean, that's exactly the case with the V160 right?...notchy and noisy, but strong asf! :D
