Likewise, I see your point. Regardless I do think a 300hp and 400hp version of the Z will still undercut their Supra counterpart. Nissan hasn't spent anywhere near what Toyota has with R&D. Historically the Z has been priced lower as well.
As others have said, let's just wait for official numbers.

I mean for places like the EU where the 3.0 cost an arm, leg, and a left nut sure, but for the US I don't think it makes much sense. I already said this a million times, but Toyota should have kept the B58C as the base model and took more stuff off of it for a lower price tag.
Kinda agree, but the issue with going that route is can you convince people to folk over $43-$47k for a "Celica"? The last time the Celica was offered here it was a $22k car or $29k with inflation. Either way that's a huge price jump.
