    People can be rude as hell on the forums because it's the internet. I'll answer some of your questions: Manuals don't need JB4, the ecu is different, just remove it (be sure to unplug the battery first) and bring it to a BMW dealership and tell the service guy that you would like to swap it...

    A virus? Yeah I don't know who you're talking to but that's a poor choice of explanation/wording. JB4 can be summed up as a fancy boost controller with more settings but far less settings and customization than an unlocked ECU with MHD/BM3. A virus? No.
