Ease of access is the name of the game. The mongoose just ain’t working on your person in those seats.

I can’t speak for everyone, but I carry my Sig Sauer P365 on my person (thus no need to holster your weapon mounted in the car when getting out of the car), and I like to be able to reach for my Korth Mongoose (5.25) on the magnet.
