  3. How much does timing service cost at the dealer?

    Probably no one has enough miles on theirs yet to need this service. Just curious with the cam gears and timing system being at the rear of the block, how much the dealer will be charging for that service and how many hours their book quotes for it.

  4. How common is an issue like this that requires so much excess disassembly to replace a simple part?

    Just curious if this is an extreme and rare example, or if this issue with the door latch is somewhat common. And whether it's true that the GR being a BMW has a lot of this sort of non-Toyota efficiency when servicing it.
