This is going to sound silly but is either mode better for the engine in the long run? I actually enjoy driving in normal mode, although sport is obviously more thrilling.

I'm talking to a few dealerships right now about a 2020 Supra. I've heard if the dealership has updated the ECU it can be locked. Is there a simple way I can ask the dealer to check the ECU status? Also do you guys know how common it is for a dealership to update ECUs?
