I'm also on the waitlist for an Emira. My MT Supra is still completely stock as I'm debating if I should trade in the Supra later. I had test driven an Emira and it feels fantastic. But I'm more worried about the reliability and depreciation.

Yeah the sad truth is that the GR Supra and Z4 didn't get much attention from BMW or Toyota. Manufacturers don't care about them as much as the M cars, although they have so much potential. Making the Supra too good would harm the sales of M cars so BMW definitely wouldn't do it.

Performance wise the S650 is kind of disappointing.

Current: 2023 Supra 3.0 MT 2021 Audi RS 6 Avant On the wait list for a Lotus Emira. Will trade the Supra in when the Emira comes. The dream garage will need to be 3 cars (need a 6- or 7-seater). If limited to 2, I would keep the RS6 and get a 718 GT4RS or manual GT3.
