Softer, wider, stickier tires with heat in them will increase your chances of picking up something. Spinning the rear tires a lot will decrease your chances of dispersing a nail Iād assume. As for slicks or radials Iām not sure as thereās not much thread to begin with.
One of the most interesting things Iāve learned from owning this car is how controversial it seems to someone who doesnāt also own one. Itās pretty crazy how some people can react when they see one. Donāt get me wrong Iāve had a lot of compliments too. But also unpleasant experiences as well.
Was doing a down pipe install and I noticed a bunch of sand down intake pipe. Iām running the oem filter box with a BMC air filter. After inspecting I didnāt find any issues other than the oem filter sits a tiny bit more snug than the BMC one. Most of the sand were on the outside edges around...
Good question. Stock turbo is good for 500-550hp (on ethanol). But the pure 650 on 91 Iām not sure. Maybe 450-550hp?. See if you can find any guys running the pure 700 and compare. Or just ask Pure Turbo. Also, your tuner too. To see where they're comfortable at putting the car.
