I wasn't able to find anything online but was told it should be the same as Z4. I was going to compare EU to US wiring but I couldn't find an EU VIN to view a wiring diagram.

Gen 1 B58s have had great luck using this (including myself). For the price, it doesn't hurt to try and if it works on Gen 2 as well, the word can spread and people can enjoy their downpipes without a CEL :D O2 Spacer That Works! (bimmerpost.com)

If the brake booster wasn't doing its job, you wouldn't have been able to get the rotors hot enough to have coloration. You're probably experiencing pad fade or fluid boiling

That's the sound of metal contracting after being heated and is now cooling down. Completely normal.
