That’s the concern with my current CM setup with the hrb, it’s failed once and I had to wait on CM for replacements which they did send to me. I had to pay for install/labor that was pricey but am worried it could fail again. When and if it fails I’m wondering if I should do a new clutch like...
I can attest to the manual and auto as I’ve had a 22 auto and now currently the manual. Both are awesome cars. On e50 and meth is plenty fast. Only gripe about the manual is the damn hill assist function can’t be turned off and is annoying with the upgraded clutch. Everything else is crisp and...
You mean longer final drive like the autos 3.15. Shorter he would be at 4K rpm around 70mph with a 3.91. The final drives in these cars are just fine imo. OP could just get the catless dp and keep the stock exhaust and save some $.
It doesn’t matter if you drive an auto or a manual, I’ve owned both for Supras. Just matters if you’re having fun and if you’re fast. The m3p is a great car for what it is, but Supras with light mods can drag it’s ass.
It’s extremely annoying, seems like it’s always engaged even on a flat surface. If you’re in nuetral and press the brake once it will roll back a little, but if you hit the brake twice it engages. I wish we could disable it or it was only engaged on steep inclines. Driving a twin disc with it is...
That’s perfect, just like my setup. Haven’t launched it yet since I’m on stock axles and Mickey 305s. I’ll take it to the track here shortly and post the video. Hoping for anything in the low 11s tbh but we’ll see.
Hell yea bro, just wait until you go full WOT. I did like 300 break in miles. Car currently sits just over five thousand miles. Is it bad I want more power lol
It held up to e40 for awhile, noticed slipping on the first pull on e50 meth so I was cautious with it. Definitely some material on the flywheel you can see in the picture. Like night and day from stock clutch to fx1000. That’s how the car should of came from the factory.
I can attest, stock clutch isn’t going to last even on stock turbo e50 and meth pushin 532/582wtq. Do urself a favor and get the fx1000. The video says they’re hoping to get one or two weeks out of the stocky clutch.
Definitely recommend MHD, I believe mhd+ is out for us now. This way ull have the option for e40 in the future. My bolt ons without catless dp no tune was 402/408 to wheels fyi. Cheers
I’ve only driven it with the 75-140 and it runs and drives as expected. Honesty I don’t think anyone would notice unless you told them you had the heavier weight in there.
It’s honestly not that bad and barley noticeable. There’s a slight chatter at idle but when you push the clutch in it’s no chatter. It drives normal, took me one day to get used to the first gear engagement from the stock clutch but after that it’s muscle memory.
