The manual gives you the brief pause so your brain knows what's going on and has time to process, lol! that's why people say it's engaging, lol. I'm just kidding.

I like the ZF8 in the Supra, but I wouldn't have used traffic as a reason to buy one. I drove in stop and go traffic with manual cars for years, and switching gears didn't bother me. Traffic gets old with any transmission.
