It kept saying media were attached even if they were not. Tried to restart everything for 3 times without result, plus got one battery warning that didn’t appear anymore. So I was like: not risking this for bigger screen CarPlay only (which actually makes you lose the split screen )

I’m planning to do the upgrade in the next few days.
My only concern: may never software (potentially designed for newer models) affect some features from the older models if the hardware is different? Or they were smart enough to create different softwares for different hardwares?
If you have an old version, I guess the newer updates will improve different things (other than actual cars features, If they have released updates, supposedly some bug fixing has been done).

all in all everything looks simple. Just trying to get a decent power source because right now I only have a 5A charger and I don’t think that would be enough, even though the battery is quite new
I'm about to do the same process in the next week. Just to double check your feedback, what's the EPS? Mostly trying to check if you actually any severe issue or just some standard post update calibration required.
Could it be that some of the connection to the camera died? Or maybe you can try to find the relevant jumper and disconnect / reconnect to see if that helps. Otherwise, I'd rather take it straight to toyota to see what's wrong.
