Man, when I get to driving, I start cranking tunes. And then all of a sudden Wilson Philips “Hold on” pops up, and I then I down shift and just really hit the grove!!
It’s an odd story. I contacted them at the beginning of January when it showed they they were getting it in. They said it was sold, but said we could sit test it since we had never been in one and were shopping for Caymans too. We initially did not like it. We said it felt too tight. But I think...
Yeah. Black base. Oddly enough the battery threw the warning for replacement. They tried to clear the code but in the end just warranted it out and gave us a brand new one. You local to the area?
Hey no problem! Last time I did this was for a buddies car. He actually had donut and Jack, but he had no idea they were in the car! I gave him a quick lesson in how to fix a tire as I felt he was too far from home to risk the spare. It’s amazing how some people simply don’t know.
I too had a...
Like many of you, I actually enjoy doing my own maintenance. I’ve already done a 1500 mile break in, and intend to do oil and filter changes at 5000 mile intervals.
I was thinking that when it comes time to redeem my two oil changes, just simply requesting the oil and filter and doing it...
disclaimer: don’t be dumb. If you can’t follow basic directions, you can get hurt. I’m not responsible for your actions
Since our cars, and a lot of new models as well, come with basic Lu a can of fix a flat, I wanted something a lot more robust to fix a deflated tire with.
I bought a scissor...
Ohhhh wow. That’s a tough spot. Can you get your hand into the the area and see if you can feel around? If you can, you might be able to flick it out. I doubt the rock is causing too much damage but I’d definitely want it out ASAP as well.
Bought from Fox Toyota in Clinton Tennessee.
3.0 base 2023. It arrived on lot, and a few weeks later it was bought by an employee and sold back with 800 miles and CPO’ed.
So basically we got it with the extended warranty with no markup.
Personally, for the “famous” ones around here, in order of my choice:
1) 116 / Devils Triangle
2) foothills parkway from 321 to 129 section
3) Cherohala Skyway
4) 129/ The Dragon
I have a base as well. Aside from a few very minor things, I did not see any real advantage. And I do get the sense from reading many of the posts on this forum, that quite a few others feel the same.
And after having several cars with full leather, I very much like Alcantara seats.
Don’t feel too bad. I’m normally not this anal but I drove this road called the Cherohala Skyway, and in the Tennessee side they must have dumped a million tons of sand for a snow fall that didn’t happen. This shit was in the road for 10 miles and my car was a mess because of it.
Installed the ZL1 rock guards this afternoon. Matter of fact, I pulled the wheels, cleaned 20 pounds of road sand out of the wells, did a L-R swap, and cleaned the rest of the body to prep for a clay bar, and wax, correction, and wax this weekend. Now I’m tired haha.
