I was in same boat when I ordered mine and actually made the same thread. I went the the premium only because of the rear brake size. I really wanted those alcantara seats in the base and went back forth for a month or two , but in the end it was the premium .

Three exhaust is for suckers, don’t really care about horn, but fake vents will be a peeve of mine when I get my car. Easy enough fix I read.

same here. I quit BMW after my e92 m3 kept me up all night worrying about rod bearings (loved the s65 though). BMW focuses on 0-60 times and tech now ,not emotion or driving experience . And let’s not forget their future plan to make people pay micro transactions for heated seats and navigation.

The M2 is a top tier M car. I dunno what “BMW“ guys you’re talking about , but if they think that, then their opinions mean nothing and they’re most likely posers.

I made the switch over to premium. The difference between the two became too much for my OCD. Thanks guys for all the feedback.

Yeah probably is. I’ve had a few bmws in my day and outside of the M3 the leather seats are horrid. I don’t know if the Supra is the same ?

Yeah that Sounds like something BMW would do. I can’t believe Toyota went along with it.

Howdy , I just ordered 2023 3.0 base nitro yellow, but I’m a little torn between moving up to premium for the larger rear brakes . I could care less about the upgraded tech in the premium , just want the alcantara seats and cheaper price. I do plan to autox occasionally. What do you guys think?
