The front brakes are what I would be more worried about, and they are the same size across all the 3.0 models.

15mm more braking surface, or .59". You could just buy the base and use the 3k+ in savings to get a better brake setup from a 3rd party vendor.

So you'd say the alcantara are better than the leather for the price? I know I saw someone selling the leathers for $800 for the set.

Just curious where you saw that the premium has larger rear brakes? I didn't see that on Toyota's site.

@JTN what do you mean when you say "port installed garbage" are you just talking about options. Let's hope I can get as lucky as you did. I don't mind waiting a few months to get what I want.

That's unfortunate. However the local dealership says they will not add any mark up, which is nice. But the dealership 2 hours away says they are the "#1 dealership" in the state so they get the most allocations. May just have to make a trip up there and talk with them about getting something...
