Just to follow up on this - I bought one sensor (250) - removed bumper, replaced it and put it back (1.5hr of work) - all works (no calibration of sotware needed if you only replace sensors)

All problems gone. I put back Super Pilot Sport tyres and the car feels normal! On previous tyres it didn't really matter whether I do 2.6 bar or 2.1, although on lower pressure it was a bit better. I was still getting quite a lot of traction control issues and car felt unstable at higher...
