Based on the Canadian pricing of the G87 and Z4 m40i, if manual option is indeed going to cost more, well optioned G87 will have same pricing...

I agree! Mine was M Performance Edition (Canadian Limited Edition) that came with Full Merino Leather Seat as well. And bit different 20" wheel. I let it go in order to get manual M2 haha

If the shifter and boot assembly is anything that like F87s, the knob and boots are actually a one piece. The knob does not come off by itself without ripping the shit out of the boot material from the knob. (Used to own F87 M2, F87 M2CS.)

Having owned M340i, I completely agree on that. I would say it's by far the best all-rounder cars I have owned so far. AWD, four doors, decent space, great trunk opening so I can actually put a lot bigger items compared to cars in the similar category.

Why would you say exhaust is easy to deal with? In my eyes, DP would be easiest to deal with since it's smaller in size and also easier to resell compared to exhaust... At least here in Vancouver...

Exactly my thoughts. I did have AA DP in my previous 3.0 AT so I have pretty good idea (minus my shitty memory) how it sounded.

That's a good point. Couple of my friends were having heated - jokingly - debates whether I should get DP or exhaust. It was fun to watch them fighting between more volume, change in sound vs more gain haha

It's good to hear that it is quite with the valve closed. With my '17 M2, there was basically 0 difference in volume between valve open and closed. I have just ordered the DP and maybe I will get the HKS exhaust in the future. Thanks for the reply.

My '17 M2 had both AA DP and Remus Exhaust and it was waaaay too much..... :(

I actually had 3.0 AT in between another car before getting 3.0 MT so have pretty good idea how the DP would pair with stock exhaust. Just thought that since I am purchasing the DP again anyways, thought I should ask for the opinions. Thanks for the reply!
