I’ve solved my dilemma in the best way. My appointment is on May 28, they are doing an oil change and full check up which takes 3 hours somehow.
I did a few cruises and now at 1100 miles. Doing another one tomorrow so I’ll be good!
So I got my Supra late Sept 2023, and I've put on 750 miles so far, well under the break-in period of 1200 miles. I didn't have much opportunity to drive it in the colder snowy months. I just got the oil maintenance light, and pretty sure it's because my production date stamped on the door is...
I didn't hear this but it makes sense. They make a lot more money plus they will have a Supra to sell after a few years.
Honestly, I think if you add an extended warranty and some extra stuff you'll get your allocation sooner. I ordered a CU later grey...but before that they offered me...
I did my research on the Noco's, and the minimum you should buy is a Genius5 for the Supra. I bought two of them last month. It will take the Genius2 30hrs to charge an 80amp battery, 12 for the Genius5 and 6hrs for the Genius10.
Got my manual! I actually ordered a CU later from Don Valley back in Aug 2022. Over the last month they offered me a white one and then a red one in which I declined. They offered me the blue one as someone had to give it up…so thought I’d take it!
I’ve had three manual BMWs…06 Z4, 09 E92 and...
What? Really!? Can I ask which dealership and what colour? Is that what we should be doing...just call around to check inventory? Did they charge you any markup?
We should have a new rule for this thread if you received your allocation. List out when and where you placed your order, and colour as well. e.g.
Where: Toronto (Don Valley)
When: Aug 2022
Colour: CU Later
Allocation/ship date: None for me :(
Can I ask when you placed your order? I put mine in Aug 22, I have no dates...was told maybe end of summer or fall.
Just curious how long everyone is waiting for.
