Ok surprisingly it was easier than I thought. I did clear out some errors as well. I did this first due to the problems mentioned earlier. Now what is interesting is that it will not allow you to permanently clear out the oil maintenance as well as other maintenance intervals. But you can...
I went ahead and ordered that OBDlinkCX and going to download bimmercode on my ios so I can take care of these maintenance lights. If I have any issues I will report back.
Thanks for the info so far.
Btw I just noticed you are in GA. What part? I am in waycross.
Yea umm I like to avoid the stealership at all costs other than to buy the damn car lmao. And I think I will just do the whole bimmerlink thing. Looks like it can be useful anyway.
I can confirm that draining the oil has nothing to do with the āreset oilā maintenance issue. I am just shy of 500 miles and did an oil change. And itās still āimpossibleā to reset the oil change.
Iāve read on here I need to get the bimmerlink app on ios in order to reset it? is that...
again, Iām not sure why you are confused. I was responding to another individual who thought āobjectivelyā it wast better to him.
I asked by what matrix because according to all the data I have seen that dispassionately it is better.
now those knobs pictured look amazing! Iāll probably go with something like that. I also love titanium. And donāt mind the extra Pennieās to be spent. Personally I prefer my lever exposed. Especially if itās a modded one. I wonder if anyone makes a titanium lever.
Although I wouldnāt mind being...
understandable. Iām well aware of what would need to be done in order to adapt the knobs Iām looking into. Yes the stock shaft would need to be dye cut. Some knobs would fit in stock shaft without adapter and then other would need an adapted on top of it to account for the different diameter...
negative. Inferior by what metric objectively or technically? Because objectively to me the MT is superior in every way minus the faster shifting (but I didnāt buy the Supra to be this insane drag car monster so that point is completely and utterly moot to me).
imho the Supra has and will...
I respect the work on this. But no offense the stock knob looks better than all these options imho.
if there is a way to adapt something like a ARC counterweighted knob Iād probably do something like that. Also I hope some aftermarket company makes a short shifter setup.
