11 months into a 3-4 month wait 🥳
Has been sitting at a German port in A88 status for 4 weeks now.
Getting close, another 12-13 month data point I suspect.
Ordered July 2023, build confirmed for Feb. They've indicated 2 months for delivery. Call it start of May, would make it 10 months total if all goes to plan..
I was originally quoted 4 months, so I'd be careful listening to the dealership.
Although 2 years isn't all that bad, I wouldn't be putting any trust in a conductivity tester. All those are good for are bloating service bills.
Personally I wait until my master cylinder has corroded into pieces.
Bit luckier in WA, it's done at the dealership and they have already agreed to leave it off.
I'm just doubtful the message will get to the tech doing the PDI, call me pessimistic if you will.
Saw this advertised, could be an option for those who'd like to run a valved aftermarket exhaust.
LHD model only at the moment, RHD in development apparently.
Nice holder, good alternative to the tow hook mount.
How are these cars with scraping on speed bumps/driveways? Am I going to be tiptoeing around the CBD?
Yea I'll stay away from the MMI I think, android auto can be temperamental at the best of times. Good to hear the stock nav functions well, problem solved.
Time to scour the internet for parts I can order to keep the wait interesting. List so far (boring):
Tint
Enkei GTC02
Ceramic coating &...
Cheers!
Fingers crossed for anything under 8 months, been way too long since I was driving around in my A80.
Can anyone comment on how the nav system behaves? I'm an android peasant and want to see if I can get away with the stock system for the times I do need it.
Just placed an order on Friday, ETA 4-6 months.
Asked to make sure it was a 2024 as I'm quietly hoping they've made some sort of refinements.
45th anniversary annoucement wasn't what most of us were hoping for I bet.
