I suspect it may play out a bit like Piastri/Norris last year - a few more years experience on Georges side could see him cope with the stress/pressure better when it starts getting close to the wire.
Usually if it's gardening leave in this industry it is enforced for a decent period of time, (unless the new employer comes up with enough £££ to sway the decison and release them sooner).

Plenty of people in the UK do, and have done ever since CATs were mandated back in 1992... you just need to find a tame MOT tester, (which is getting harder now VOSA has upped it's game in monitoring the MOT stations) or be prepared to refit it/map appropriately each year for the test.

Ferrari probably should have split the strategy, there was nothing to lose from pitting one of the cars. (Probably LH so the LC kept track position)
On the flip side, the Mercedes strategy wasn't great - it was their pace advantage that got them the 1-2, nothing clever on from their strategy...
I'd like to see Mercedes properly challenging again - Russell should be able to challenge for a WDC if they deliver, he's always been the real deal. Antonelli probably needs another year and then he'll be solid too.

Lando did what he needed to do, and had to make a few overtakes in the process... I was impressed that McLaren actually used the playbook and split their stategy too!
