Session (20 mins), or even a spirited drive. I haven't seen my IATs higher than 130C since installing it. My air intake itself used to be extremely hot to the touch and now I can rest my hand on it without pain, so I'm guessing a lot of what the heat shield is doing is just keeping the intake...

I do not know how accurate the temp numbers are within JB4, but after I installed the Verus Engineering heat shield my IAT went down around 5 C on average. I am running the AMS Performance Carbon Air Intake and charge pipe for reference.
