  1. New Car/Supra Owner need advice.

There are, but they are not numerous at all.
  2. New Car/Supra Owner need advice.

He didn't mention which state he lives in but here in CA, the highest octane is 91. I'm not sure if a JB4 or Dinan piggyback will be worth the cost.
  3. Excellent Cars and Brew event in San Diego, yesterday

...not far from the Miramar Air Base. This had to be the third time I've been to an Elite Finish event, only this one was in the late afternoon/early evening. The crowd was huge and the cars were amazing, as usual. Check out my video when you have a chance.
  4. Custom Exhaust Question - GR Supra Exhaust

Talk about a high-drone exhaust. I like the fact that I can eliminate drone on the highway, just by switching to Normal mode.
  5. Trunk rattle

    I believe it.
  6. Trunk rattle

Yes. The factory installed a bad diff output shaft seal in my car. The also installed a bad Toyota emblem on the nose.
  7. Trunk rattle

Could it be that the screws were over-torqued?
  8. What is your ride height on MSS springs?

That's kindof like my Dinan spring ride height - the back is higher than the front. I guess that's a good thing when I pick up bags of potassium pellets at Home Depo or Costco.:)
  9. Dash ornament for Cars & Coffee events

You never know where and when a model that interests you pops up. I was recently at a Michael's store when I discovered a rack of die-cast cars in the back corner of the store. On one of the racks were 4 Fast & Furious GR Supras (1/32 scale, I believe), similar to the one I have. There was no...
  10. Dash ornament for Cars & Coffee events

    I couldn't resist this one.:)
  11. Local Cars & Coffee event with very unique vehicle

When you visit San Diego, there'll likely be some good c&c events from which you can choose, even without your Supra. The Rancho Santa Fe one is held every Saturday morning.
  12. Car still won't start after replacing dead battery

I've read that this is known issue with lightly driven cars. The problem is likely the starter or starter grounding. Battery tenders do not exercise the starter.
  13. Local Cars & Coffee event with very unique vehicle

Nice combination! I like driving my Miata, but typically take the Supe to c&cs. Andy is going to send me details about the Point Loma one.
  14. Local Cars & Coffee event with very unique vehicle

It seemed to be professionally constructed by a custom builder. I had a good talk with the owner who bought it from the guy. He paid $6k for it. I'm sure you'll spot it right away in this video:
  15. Selling Advice, 2023 3.0 MT model

Same here with the Kelly Blue book estimator when I was selling my 2014 Mazda 3. Dealers in the area acted as if I thought that amount was all could get for my car. When we were buying a Camry, the sales guy looked at our 2006 Lexus RX400h and offered us $4000 for it. I laughed and told him that...
  16. Selling Advice, 2023 3.0 MT model

I sold my highest value car on Autotrader, but first checked a few other auto selling sites for similar cars in similar conditions. Compared to trading it in, I saved at least $3000. Having a detailed description and 10+ photos are very helpful. Include maintenance schedules for buyer's peace of...
  17. Mirror motor failure HELP

Soon after I bought my car, I noticed this (about 70, then goes away above or below that). I then searched this forum and found out that quite a few owners were experiencing the same thing. It may be a transmission thing, but at least at that time, no one was able to get an answer or repair...
