Awesome! I will probably do the same as I've read good things about the Alpha One amp. And I will also probably end up facing the same dilemma down the road about not wanting a separate sub box but wanting deeper/ louder bass. I would like to get the most out of the dedicated sub enclosure...

Did you end up upgrading the amp? I'm looking to do the same thing before diving into speaker or sub upgrades. I'm set on it being the amp that is holding the sound system back. Two 8" subs don't just sound this quiet for no reason.
