Well props to the dealer then because the dealer did not charge for the diagnostic. What my sales advisor told me was that Toyota did not want to provide the parts since it’s not under warranty.
So just for more context. Car was completely fine up until this day. Literally no signs of any issues until it would not get in gear while the car was on. toyota actually reached out yesterday saying they are willing to cover 50% of the labor but still unsure if I want to proceed this way since...
Trust me I have babied this thing and I agree with you. I am thinking about lawyering up because the more I look into this the more it looks like they are trying to screw me over
Unfortunately it looks like Toyota will be no help on this. Apparently some other user in my area had the same thing happen to them however they just went after market and I don’t blame them
So my plan is to go to another dealership but when speaking to Toyota corporate they advised a clutch is not under warranty at all since it’s wear and tear
