My local indy is asking for $200 and won’t use anything other than the blue BMW coolant. Would rather stay green so I’ll be looking around. Thanks for the info!
Thank you, I’ll replace it anyways to be more sure. I’m curious how much coolant flushes are costing you guys. Living at an apartment does not make it easy to maintenance this car.
Thank you! This will be my next move. My only question is, what’s causing it to go low? Would it be the cap or is there a common area that it leaks from that I don’t know about?
No, I've owned it since 27k miles and since Oct. 2023. Unsure based on the carfax if the coolants ever been changed/topped up, but with me as the owner, it's never been looked at until now.
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but does anybody know what this is? This is my lower coolant reservoir. It's not exactly murky, but it's brown. Last night I got a coolant low indicator and decided to check the coolant reservoirs. The smaller one was nearly full and was green like I...
What’s the appeal of SP1R over a Made Motorsports exhaust? Seems like they’re nearly identical except for Made has a resonator and was at my door in 2 weeks.
Hmm, I’ve never heard of this. Would it just be recommended to take it to a shop? I’ve never worked on suspension before so these lowering springs were my first attempt. I’ve also ran this set up for about 10 months, been rubbing occasionally ever since but only now have I decided to try and fix it.
I’ll do this to see where it’s rubbing, my confusion was mainly that I saw this exact set up recommended with no rubbing. So I wonder if I installed it wrong or anything like that.
Lowered on Eibach US Pro kit, 15mm rear spacers with ZL1 Rock Chip Guards. Only rubbing on the rear and I’m not sure why? I’ve gotten alignments and its stock wheel and tire specs. I’ve been told that this set up would not cause rubbing and be a good flush fitment. I really like how the fitment...
Wow, just checked back there and I left a little over a half quart of oil back there for incase I burn oil and somehow it leaked all over that area ?‍♂️
I have this mysterious fluid leaking behind my passenger rear wheel. It doesn’t smell like anything but it’s thicker and slightly yellow. I’m assuming brake fluid but I’m wondering what line or anything back there could be broken to cause this?
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
I do have the ZL1 addons as well. I wasn’t sure that it would be those since it seemed so thin. Maybe I’ll try taking them off and seeing if they still rub or not.
I went with Eibach US model and on 13mm front and 15mm rear spacers on stock wheels. I rub consistently on my passenger rear and I have no idea why. I’ve been told this set up shouldn’t rub, going to do an alignment soon to see if that changes anything. Looks great though.
I’ve just purchased a made exhaust, the resonator is what sold me on it. There’s not many sound clips on it, but based on what I could find, it wasn’t extremely loud.
I’ll update with sound clips when installed.
Would you know if resetting the brake service interval through bimmerlink would also turn off the brake light? Or would it only be resetting that the interval service.
