Yeah that 5-6 shift is weak. I was always told when doing a pull just stay out of 6th. Not to sure yet. I would assume so. I am still doing the break in period.

I didn’t have any issues before the rebuild. I just knew with big turbo and E85 my time was coming. Not sure on my torque. I was running 30 pounds at the time I built it. So probably wouldn’t have lasted much longer.

Just go single piece driveshaft! Better piece of mind in the end. Get rid of the rubber guibos or whatever they are called. The Driveshaft The Toyota Supra Should Have Had (Supra 8HP51 Fix)
