I had the same code before, and I fixed it by replacing the fuel cap for $15. I personally believe the $15 is worth the chance of fixing it.
@SavagePassenger brings up a good point. I was also pushing down on the cap when putting it back on, which is probably how it started leaking in the first...

I just successfully did my transmission and differential fluid at home. Thanks to everyone here for the info, it's good.
I learned a few things that I hope others will find useful.
Transmission oil is smelly, but diff oil smells WAY worse. Keep a fan around to circulate the air.

I think you'll be fine without spacers or studs. Front wheel is only half an inch wider but the -7mm difference in offset should make up for that in terms of inner clearance. Rear wheel same same scenario (now -8mm).

Just a heads up. According the Toyota Parts site, these nuts should not be reused. I bought new ones with the installation of my sway bar, and I have loctite too. For reference:
