I was told by a dealership employee that Toyota was pulling allocations for dealerships that advertised over MSRP. Something about a policy that they could sell over MSRP but not advertise.
Any truth to this?
0% your warranty can never be voided. (U.S.A) If you went in for a warranty claim on X part failing, Toyota would then have to have a valid case and prove that modifications contributed to part Xs failure. Obviously for things like a failure anywhere in the powertrain or drivetrain things...
Will only ever buy BASE for sports cars. As long as drivetrain is the same. I have no need or want for all the heavy extras..I wish the base was more on par with the FR-S base. no thrills, steering wheel, couple of seats.
Im late to the party, but i looked at this a little but at the DFW auto show. The exhaust is the most obvious point. It appears that 30lbs could be saved fairly easy at a low cost. (keeping cats)

Correction on this, dealership decided to add $7,000 "Market adjustment", before I got everything in writing. So avoid Steve Landers Toyota in Little Rock, AR. Obviously another dealership that can't keep their word.
Good news Is found another dealership and got the 3rd spot on the list...
