Update: you inspired me to go for the full wrap lol. FINALLY got it back and im digging the results. They were even able to buff out some of the older chips and scratches.
  2. PPF Help

Kudos, that looks amazing. It looks like your in Anahiem. Im local we should definitely make that happen. I’d love to pick your brain.
  3. PPF Help

This is a valid point. Ive heard some places wont do the hood due to its size, and the fact the supra is already a difficult car to apply ppf to.
  4. PPF Help

Beautiful! I debating a full wrap rn and it appears its worth it. What was the cost if you dont mind me asking?
  5. PPF Help

Lol! Yes I clearly botched the measurement. One place told me 7.5 mm, one told me 0.08 mm, and I was sitting there thinking to myself “this cant be right”. Theres a spot local to me that will apply the xpel for a reasonable price so i think ill go that route. Although i found some scratches on...
  6. PPF Help

I got a couple quotes for full front PPF and I’d be curious to know what others are using. So far the options are 7.5 mm miracle ppf or 8.0 mm xpel ultimate PPF. Both are self healing and will cover the hood, headlights, bumper, fenders, and mirror caps. Miracle i was told is a new company...
  7. Advice on a New Key Fob

This is good news. So I have to order the key through the dealer (1k) but i can pick it up and program it myself. Saving $200. Do you mind sharing the programming process or a link? Also, could i buy a used fob online and use that?
  8. Advice on a New Key Fob

Confirmed: i called 2 bmw dealerships and theyre saying go through toyota. The toyota dealerships near me will replace the key fob but there is a lead time (they said 4-6 days) and i would need to being it in for programming.
  9. Advice on a New Key Fob

Haha i also airtagged my key. I just find it a little sus that the dealership failed to mention they had only one key. Im less worried about losing it than i am someone who has it stealing my new car. Its my baby lol
  10. Replacement keys no longer available through Toyota

Late to the party but I have a question. Can you buy a used supra key fob $50-100, and get it rekeyed and programmed? i just had a dealer say he could but that it might not accept the programming. In that case theyd still charge for the labor.
  11. Advice on a New Key Fob

Thank you for the info. This makes much more sense now. I got 4 quotes roughly in the same ballpark. Toyota will replace the key, but it does require communication with BMW.
  12. Advice on a New Key Fob

I just got myself a 2022 3.0 premium, but they only gave me one key fob. I called the local toyota dealership and they quoted me $1000 for the new key + fob. A quick google search indicated the price should be around $200-350. Does anyone have insights on where i can go in southern CA to get a...
