100% worth it. I only BARELY hear it off throttle at 47-50mph. But I drive with no music on mostly. Let me put it this way, my wife has never noticed it. You'll be fine. The pros far, far out weigh the tiny con. Plus there's a sweet logo on it.
Right? I got lucky on that one. No quarter damage. Rook out the knuckle, axle, hub, etc (not the shock somehow?). Great car though.
Original knuckle at that point was 19 years old and over 150 track days. Internal micro cracks and metal fatigue in the knuckle over time caused the failure...
Not my Supra, but ripped the entire left rear suspension out of my s2000 in T17 setting up for my flyer at Sebring at few years back.
Car was acting weird the day before on right handers. Welp 😅
The super low profile ones won't work because then the car will rest on the jacks on the side skirts (they hang down lower than low profile ones allow). Just drive up onto some wood or small ramps. Then slide them under and use the normal blocks.
I keep tossing around the thought of Verus camber plates before my next alignment. Is that what you're going with and if so you think the camber plates are worth it? Im currently at -2.2 up front which isnt bad for not having any adjustment.
H&R springs here with the Eibach front sway on stiff and oem endlinks. Zero issues. No rubbing, no binding, nothing. Just dont be in a rush and after 15 years of working on cars install the sway bar upside-down. It's an expensive mistake. Other than that, it's great!
Can confirm the Rapid Designs brace is awesome. 15/10, would recommend. Install is lightning fast too.
Took me longer to get the car up on the Quick Jacks than actually installing the brace.
Purely my opinion, but I would never have bought the MKV if it was based on the MK4/M2 setup as a 2+2. I'm a 2 seater fan and knew that getting into this car and everything that comes along with it. Having dailied an s2000 at one point in my life, which makes the MKV look big lol.
We've also...
I ran into the same issue. Broke one and ordered them online. The ones I ordered came in as a 8mm, while all of mine are 10mm (I'm a 2024). I'll try that part number you posted above.
