I just zip tie mine to the grill in the main heat exchanger area off to the side. I've also seen people zip tie them to the front tow hook (or rear tow hook).
After doing a cool down lap on track, I let the car idle in paddock for a few minutes with the hood open, then shut the car off. We have used fans blowing on the heat exchangers in between sessions to help out when it's very hot.
Had another crack at Lime Rock Park. Previous PB was a 1:00.3, this time I managed a relatively easy 58.72.

QQ - can the coding be done with Bimmergeeks ProTool, or does it require E-SYS? I read through the instructions this weekend. Still need to install mine, but "soon". :D I already have a ProTool license, but don't have an E-SYS license.
Thanks.
Dropped the car back down today and from this angle there's more room than I thought. Just a small update.
I'll have the car out this weekend. Anyone else going to be at CMP with SCCA?
Finally got around to installing mine. SCCA TT is at CMP this weekend so I’ll see how it feels.
Exhaust clearance is a little tight on the driver side. I’ll have to keep an eye on that. Obviously not a knock on the brace, so many different exhausts on the market. Install was easy, changed the...
Yikes, I gotta be honest I haven't done much "car stuff" the last few months so I was mostly checked out of this forum. Some of y'all need to relax a bit about parts. I know $500-700 is not an insignificant amount of money, but (as has already been explained) this shit takes time.
Anyway, I got...
This seems like the type of modification that you'd do when you have already done everything else, given it's not so simple to make work on this platform. I had phenolic spacers on my Subaru, but all that required was some longer bolts for the TGVs. Everything else more or less lined up...
It was one of the SCCA days in March, I think in 2023 or 2024. Very cool temps so the car was quick. Unfortunately there was always a lot of rain or snow and people kept crashing so SCCA no longer runs VIR that time of year :(
I have been very pleased with my Wagner manifold. Fit, finish, and performance is good. Installation was easy. The one time I needed help with customer service (question about ordering their PI fuel rail) they responded quickly.
