  1. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

Toyota wanted to sell 20,000 in in the first year. That didn't work out for them though.
  2. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

You are very close it was 5.2 Million Yen for a Base 1999 R34 GT-R For comparison the 1999 RZ Grade Supra was 4.4 Million Yen and the stripped down RZ-S was 3.8. Advertised power wasnt 320hp either they were roughly 290-300 at the crank. I've seen enough stock JDM 2JZ Supras dyno to be...
  3. Petition Against The 'Supra' Badge

I was getting a MK2 vibe from it. Simple, focused and to the point. I dont mind it but I am partial to the MK3 interior. Its my favorite generation of Supra.

  7. Analysis, Comments & Reactions from the Web about the new Supra

In my opinion I think part of the issue is that Toyota did indeed build it for the "fans". The question is which fans? I think majority of the "fans" complaining the loudest remember the Supra, mainly the MK4 not for what it was, but for what it was capable of. Would any of those people be...
  8. Guesses on CHP? Is Toyota Sandbagging? (Is the Supra faster than they say?)

This looks like a good topic as any for a first post. If it does indeed make around 335 wheel and we assume a 20% drivetrain loss, then somewhere around 400 crank hp is reasonable.
