Would a tune get rid of the overboost issue with a very conservative tune? I don't care about making more power, but I had a dangerous event on track today when I got a drivetrain error with a completely dead gas pedal in all gears. Way different than the fuel starvation issue that killed power...
I changed the brake fluid with new SRF. The previous flush was a year and two months ago. Clutch and brake pedal feel stiffer, but the gear selection problem is the same. I noticed it happens if i'm slow to fully depress the clutch before engaging the gear. It's probably due to my inexperience.
I've been having the same issue on my '24 model year with 4000 miles. It just started to lock me out of first gear when at a full stop. Sometimes it feels like a notch before I can fully engage the gear. Not much exp with manual cars ('19 ND Miata and '23 Civic Type R before the Supra), but...
I had this happen to me on track yesterday. It happened on a sweeping right hander and my fuel level was 4 bars (a little less than half) and the car went into limp mode. Funnily enough, after starting the car back up and still having 3 bars of fuel, I had the fuel reserve warning.
Can someone recommend a good shop to help me properly install an Active Autowerke exhaust? It was my first time trying to install it and i can't get it to not rub. I've had it for a few months and it can rattle at low rpm. I am up north near the Lynnwood area. Thanks!
+1 for Quickjacks. I use a floor jack to put my front tires on scrap wood for clearance on MSS lowering springs. The HF ramps would not work for clearance. I also tried the Race Ramps wheel cribs but it was such a pain to get the car up 12 inches, I gave up lol.
