I expect he is talking about stock suspension given the reference to clearance issues with the front spring perch. As another datapoint, 275/35/18 Continental ECFs on an Apex 18x10 ET30 work fine w/ a 3mm spacer up front.

What would you get instead with what you now know? I was leaning racebred and using pro awesome in lieu of the cables. OP, what do you plan to replace the racebred with?

I have a new-in-packaging set and happy to ship.

But, since it's hanging down, it shouldn't be terribly difficult to strip the ends and wire them together - and then use BimmerLink to reset the maintenance cycle. That said, I would think you'd want to pull the wheel and figure out what's going on that caused it to come out in the first place.

In know this post is very old, but were you able to remedy?

@razorlab, how'd you customize the dashbuilt - i.e., what customizations did you get on yours? And, anything you'd do differently in retrospect (understanding that you may have additional thoughts after it's installed)? @Mdstx - here's the install video. Looks straightforward but tedious.
