If you’re pushing more than 25PSI do not run the lower crankcase port (CCV) to your catch can. It will push oil. That port is an input port, only there to allow air in. It is not an output port.
I’m running the oil cap and PCV lines to the BMR catch can with BMR PCV pins on the head ports...
I have the PCV block off pins from bmr with Ross racing oil cap breather and banjo fitting/filter at the PCV. I like this setup because you don’t have to maintain a catch can, just Vent to atmosphere. My engine bay doesn’t get oily at all.
I used to have connectivity/datalogging issues with BM3 but recent firmware updates now connects flawlessly.
Rev 2 is now out for b58’s with bench unlock. BM3’s FlexRay will be a game changer!
It was installed at a professional shop that works closely with PureTurbos, so I’m not sure how they installed it.
What makes you think the exhaust manifold is cracked?
Hello all,
I have a b58tu with a Pure850 and I have some sort of leak after 1 year of ownership of this turbo. I’m around 32/33 psi in 3rd and 4th gear and 5th gear I see up to 35psi (stock trans I don’t go in 6th gear).
Can someone please look at these photos and let me know what you think...
