Unfortunately one of the key reasons manual will exist in those markets is because people actually buy them. If you have ever been to Japan literally the only automatic cars I saw were luxury sedans and mini vans. Everything else was manual. BMW on their M cars is even going away from manuals...
This is the photo from the BMW Z4 configurator site.
BMW has always done a good job executing HUD, they can be configured to show Nav arrows, Speed (with speed limit), media selection, etc. Can be raised or lowered or hidden away. Never had any problems with mine on my F30.
My friend just posted pictures an hour ago, she does not work at Toyota but literally across the street. The HQ is actually in Plano, TX. The lobby is open to the public but they now have the car roped off.
With A90 platform coming, it will only open more doors to more tuners to get involved. The B58 has gotten decent support and it even took the N54/N55 a while to get the full offerings. Good to see these things happening.
Pros:
Inline 6 Turbo B58 - I have owned quite a few BMWs with the N54 and N55 engines. The B58 thus far has been very well received on BMW forums. It is incredibly tuneable and the Germans always underrate power.
Looks - I think the car looks great, it is slightly busy with all the panels...
