Supra Connect nor BMW support could tell me how to change the service number in the computer, they would not even investigate the matter and find a response and get back with me, very disappointed with them. I flew out of state and drove the car home and would like to put the local dealers...
I had the same thoughts about breakin, my trip was about 345 miles down Interstate 81, but was told that the B58 was already broke in and not to worry as some take these to the track on the first day. These are not like a vette which needs that breakin, the manual states to keep the RPM's under...
I almost had mine shipped too but flew and drove it back home. It cost me less to fly then to ship.

Why pay some high price for spraying the ceramic and buffing it out with micro fiber when it is really easy to do as all it takes is a little elbow grease. Plus the self satisfaction of knowing it was done right.

Apparently it is less expensive to just have dinks repaired if they can match the paint? I am not going to PPF mine after I found out the local guy drives peoples cars without their permission.
You are correct BMWAF, I got out of sequence and set the hydraulic brake before shutting the car down and it rolled. From now on I will shut it down, release the clutch leaving it in gear, then set the brake. I prefer a manual brake just like I prefer a dip stick.
Nice car, I would be interested in the spare set of wheels if they are in great condition with no damage or curb rash, I am not interested in the tires, could you ship to 37748?
