With catless DP and Ecutek tune (446/520), if I hit the VSC button once, I can spin the tires at almost any speed if I mash the throttle. Tires have been my biggest limiting factor at the drag strip, as well.
I am still on the stock tires
i'm going tomorrow to a Dynojet, so I'll be able to see the difference between the two a bit better. Don't like trying to compare the power on a Dyno Dynamics to a Dynojet.
Results will be shared. MHD got me to 440/490 on a dynojet, so we'll see what it shows tomorrow morning with the Ecutek...
I can definitely support that. We'll be able to get much more out of this car with Ecutek than with MHD right now. MHD might put some more juice in their tunes later, but for right now, Ecutek is the way to go.
Burble is back to how it was stock. Definitely pulls harder, but it feels much smoother. As much as I enjoyed the obnoxious pops, I think it suits the car better being less bangy.
I think I do like this more.
Went from MHD stage 2 to Ecutek yesterday. This is on a dyno dynamics, so it'll look lower than what most are used to, but the jump in powet is huge. Planning on hitting the dynojet I usually tune on, on tuesday.
Yeah, it's a Seibon hood. Called em up, and they only had the one available. Wouldn't have gotten it if it was normal CF.
When I get back from FL, we're going to put clear PPF on it. Looks amazing with it. He put a sample piece on so I could see how it'll look.
Just want to say that I'm really digging how the hood looks with the wrap, and I can hear the turbo very well, even in normal mode.
I do need to find hood struts though, hopefully it'll help with any alignment issues with the hood
So I'm going to be installing a CF hood on the car, but I have no idea where to find lower pressure hood struts so I won't have to worry about damaging said hood.
For anyone who's installed a CF hood, what struts are you using? Alternatively, can anyone suggest a good source for struts?
If it was still supercharged, it would be wothout a doubt. Fortunately, my drive to work ia literally 2 miles driveway to front door, so I'm not worried
