The sad part is I'd be happier owning the GT350 rather than the Supra. Although, I am always a 2jz-Supra die-hard fan.
That Manual transmisson and the third pedal is a very big factor in owning this car. The automatic will soon gets boring, just like what faced so many GTR R35 owners, they just...
This thread is making me sadder day by day. Why is it so hard for Toyota to just make a manual. damn.
All parts are there, the chassis accepts the manual, even the mount for the third pedal is there but it is what it is I guess! :what:
I have built a 2jzgte before piece by piece and I can see so many similarities, most importantly the closed deck design.
The engine is amazing, the tech used is advanced yet so simple.
I am happy to see the oil squirters like the 2jzgte, oil being cooled by the coolant, and many more.
You can...
That's correct.
We know that the US version comes without the particulate filter but we were refering to:
"Unfortunately, I just read on a German forum about BMWs with a B58 and a particulate filter having a pressure sensor in the downpipe."
So, we were wondering if the EU version exhaust...
Yeah I doubt it too, as the Supras we got here in Oman are all having the small ugly Toyota badge above the SUPRA badge, hence the EU market Supra?
Sad but I guess we can exchange the midpipe as mentioned above.
I still have a feeling that the press cars had either a more aggressive tune or something special in them.
They were up to 420ish ft/lb of torque IIRC.
Tbh nothing so far, the US stock exhaust sounds decent enough. The HKS's sound Okay-ish, but in the video you can see the exhaust diameter is not that big, just the exhaut tip.
I will wait to hear better ones, maybe a straight pipe will do it for me haha.
