I had 2 dealerships mention that to me, but not the one I ended up ordering from. The one told me it was so people weren't trying to sell them for crazy amounts.

I have had a few dealerships let me know they have cars coming at the end of the month and they are all either black with red interior or white with red interior. Maybe that is what Toyota is sending if there is not a specific colour ordered.

We have no idea. The dealer was given no time frame when they put the order in. I am in Nova Scotia so they only have to come from the port. I had another dealer tell me that they are getting 2 cars the first week of September. The only thing the sales rep and I could think of was Toyota screwed...

I am on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Halifax is the dealership getting 2 cars. I now refuse to deal with them though. I bought mine from Tusket Toyota (Yarmouth).

I just got a text today to tell me my car should be at the dealership this coming week (Aug 4-10). My guess is that they have some at the port and are sending those out for orders. I also received an email from another dealership in Nova Scotia telling me that they are getting 2 cars at the end...

Has anyone heard of a date for the second shipment? I have one ordered and was curious if anyone heard anything.

I was told that they won't have a quote for a while, but I would be insured from day one. Since it will probably be a while before it gets here maybe they will have a price then.

To anyone that has or is getting a Supra, have you been able to get a quote for insurance? I am in Nova Scotia and all I am told is that I would have insurance but it could take a while to get a price.

People have spotted car carriers hauling new Supras around the Halifax area. They are at least leaving the port and heading to dealers. I had a friend message me after he saw a carrier full of Supras. Didn't take a picture though.
