I agree! It’s the smallest fraction of a second of delay, but when you want to move, fractions of a second are important! The steering also goes “dead” without the engine running.

I have this same issue with my M235i. You get used to it. Either double press the stop engine button, or radio will turn off upon locking the doors and walking away.
