I keep hearing how awesome it sounds but every video I see I hear a way too high pitched raspy and poppy exhaust. The car can scare little babies for sure but definitely needs more on the low end note.
Ford dropped the GT on everyone. There was no way for anyone to predict it. Nobody had ever even spotted a prototype.
Hope Supra most of the spotlight to itself when it debuts. The concept managed to made a pretty big splash at last year's Detroit show when it debuted.
What's with the US companies not using dual clutch even in their top performance cars? Even the new Corvette Z06 and Mustang GT350R were announced with autos. Do they just have access to better autos than German/Japanese companies or they just cheaping out?
After all didn't they just announce the joint development has moved into the "concept phase" after the feasibility testing completed.
I'd think they wanna give everyone a peek at the fruits of their labor in the 2+ years we'll all be waiting. It'll keep the excitement going and they can get...
I was thinking bout this more and even if it is priced higher than Corvette it'll still sell even if it just matches the performance. I know people that wouldn't buy a GM car no matter what and would pay a bit more for Toyota's reliability.
It's not really clear exactly what each company's specific role is from the official press announcements. They just say that they're working together on things.
I'm curious to see which co is the engeering/technical lead on the project or for which aspects.
