    yeah i saw that side mount. i prefer it being up by the display. can the proclip mount more away from the vent, or does it require the vent opening to clip on to?

    Not really. The AC is what helps take the moisture out of the air. If the AC is on, it'll blow dry air whether the air is warm or cold.

    Yeah, but why cold air? The AC could be on but blow warmer air to dehumidify. If it's less than 60 outside and I have it set to 70, obviously it's a bit chilly, so I wouldn't want cold AC air blowing to make it even colder inside.
