Late to the party, but just to confirm that the DME in the manual BMW can't be cloned into another unlocked DME. It happened to me with the M4.
Visconti/Femto tried to clone it, got like 4 DMEs and like 4 months later and a refund, my only option was to use my own Femto unlocked DME. I wish I...
I have a modded M4 manual right now pushing 700 whp @ 6.75s 60 - 130 mph time. Not sure if the change is worth it, honestly. Some people say is downgrading, but the weight and the nimbleness of the Supra...
Damn, and is not like I can test drive it first.
Same as in the Supra, with the sensor in the car. No pop ups or warnings, nothing.
I honestly think the oil issue was a bit overblown thanks to forums like this. Still it might have been a small batch of engines with improper oil piston rings or something.
Does anyone with 2022 has reported...

Well, 11k miles on my M4 and NO oil consumption. So I guess the B58 in the 2021 Supra is way sportier than the 2020 B58 and the S58, so that's why is normal.
If they put the same transmission/clutch as in the M3, then I don't think you will get issues with clutch slipping, at least the basic DP+E50 combo, it will do just fine.
On the M4 I have ECU flash tune, and I have logs of both, the Supra and the M4. Looks like the Supra was pushing 405~412 kW...
Yeah, wasn't the best launch, that track is always very crowded, so I got a few runs. Still the trap speed is around that. Post E50 tune the trap was 125 mph though.
This happens when you have a killer team with great quality on the production side, you can say whatever you want and it will sound truthful and convincing, even when he is full of BS.
Again, he should've tested at least a 500 whp MKV vs the modified MKIV. And the M2 ? hell no, I think the M4...
I don't think there is a single scenario where you can get away with it. Say you get your two ECUs, then, you will need to keep doing services, they will record your mileage, so even if you blew the engine and swap the original ECU back, it will have lower mileage.
Now say you do all the...
The S58 would like to have a word with you, it has (9.3:1). But yes, I mean I agree with you completely, the 2020 B58 it's a weird one with great benefits, really great throttle response, almost no lag and performs nicely with high octane fuel.
As for the S58, I think it was purposely designed...
