  1. Bimmerlink vs Bimmercode?

Another differenceā€¦ BimmerLink is now compatible with CarPlay.
  2. Nitro Yellow or Renaissance Red 2.0?

I had the same dilemma. The nitro yellow is my favorite, but itā€™s such ā€œin-your-faceā€ color I figured Iā€™d eventually get tired of it. I chose red and do not regret it. BTW, this my fourth red car, and Iā€™ve never had issues with peeling or fading.
  3. What did you do to your Supra today?

    Stopped by the ā€œin-lawsā€.
  4. Some quick Battery diagnostics help needed.

Thatā€™s correct. This video explains it: Itā€˜s worth having a battery tender, and BimmerLink.
  5. Mazda Iconic SP concept

Cammisaā€™s video seems to be timed with the SPā€™s announcement:
  6. Death of ICE cars

Apart from the whole mining of elements used in current batteries not being really green, and the modern slavery/child-labor exploitation that goes with it, thereā€™s one thing the media doesnā€™t mention: heat. Batteries generate heat while charging and while driving. I donā€™t know if anyone has...
  7. Wireless charging pad affecting phone battery life?

FYI for those who have an iPhone 15. No idea if this applies to the Supra. https://www.zdnet.com/article/bmws-wireless-charging-can-destroy-your-iphone-15/

  9. Lightweight battery alternative

If you are referring to registering the battery, you do that with BimmerLink.
  10. Supra connect email

I never did get the option to renew the connect services, or a follow up email. My services still work; in fact, just yesterday I got a navigation update. I guess Toyota quietly extended the services, and who knows for how long.
  11. Death of ICE cars

Reports of the death of ICE cars have been greatly exaggerated. -Mark Notwain

  13. Supra connect email

Thanks. The GR Supra is not listed, obviously, as @J29DB03 pointed out, because our services are provided by BMW.
  14. Supra connect email

Where did you read Toyota extended the service to 10 years? I got the same email in early June. I was expecting it since the free service was supposed to be for three years, and mine was to expire at the end of June. I tried the link, but the German BMW site didnā€™t recognize my credentials, so...
  15. What did you do to your Supra today?

Mine came out as a single piece. I used a hair dryer to loosen the double-sided tape, ultra-fine fishing line, and a prying tool to pop it out. Piece of cake.
  16. Dealer Added Krex During Oil Change

Did oil capacity increase for 2023 or for manual models? That receipt shows 8L. Isnā€™t capacity supposed to be 6.9L? My 2020 Premium has always gotten 7L.

  19. Aftermarket Steering Wheel Install

I had the same dilemma initially, but in the end I found it was pretty straightforward to do it myself. I did have a challenge with the bolt. I could not loosen it with any of my tools so I had my trustworthy mechanic help me with it (I had to remove the air bag in his parking lot). Removing the...
  20. Apple CarPlay … difficult to find on occasion

Do you have WiFi enabled on your iPhone before you start the car? Without it CarPlay wonā€™t work, and enabling WiFi after you start the car wonā€™t work either. That is in addition to having Bluetooth turned on. Iā€™ve never had CarPlay issues as long as I remember to do that.
