The car that gave me the most trouble getting in and out of was a Lotus Europa. One of the 1st ones bootlegged in from Belgium. And I was much younger then. Probably 1968.
I'm 5'7" and 140lb. I'm also 87. I'm starting to feel it getting in and out, but still hanging in there.
However. my 5' 6" 86 yo wife complains every time she gets it.
If you're still looking. I have a '22 yellow premium with a little over 5K miles. Always garaged.
Love the car, but my wife will be not driving any more and don't want to maintain 2 cars. The Supra would not be great as only car. $52K would do the job. Not too close to you, in San Diego.
I work out every day. Run 3 days(pretty feeble), Bike 2 days, and Weights 2 days. I also do squats and lots of crunches. My tombstone is gonna say, "He never owned a four door"

I'm probably the oldest guy driving a Mk5. Only auto when I bought it, but at my age (86), I've learned to love the 8 speed. My biggest problem is my wife, who at 85 is having a fair amount of trouble getting in and out.
I went to Kearny Mesa once. Made a reservation and when I got there the service "adviser" told me there is only one tech and I had to leave the car overnight because the tech was too busy. There were other problems. I'll spare you the details. I bought the car from Crown Toyota up in Ontario and...
I check Edmunds. They show lots of data. How long car has been in floor plan. Some dealers show a price. Here in San Diego, there was no discounting when I looked in December '19, but up in LA, there were several dealers that had decent markdowns.
My bike fit in the back of my Audi TT, which has a shorter wheelbase. No way will it go into the Supra. Let's face it, the Supra isn't good for much more than sounding good and going around the twisties. I have to back into my garage to avoid screwing the front spoiler and I have a hard time...
