Stay away from Automodz in Canada. Ordered my matte black A91 spoiler back in March. Haven’t seen the spoiler after several email responses over the months that it’s “almost done” or “shipping soon”; I still don’t have it. Now they have ghosted me for 2 months with no responses etc. They ignore...
I emailed them again on September 1st and they replied on the 2nd saying it “should be ready to ship” by the 12th. No updates or spoiler as of today - the 16th. Since I ordered on March 5, I now have waited 6 months. They “say” they have gloss spoiler ready to ship immediately and offered to...
Sooo, someone who was knowingly going to attempt warranty fraud got busted? Shocking. It’s sad how many people agree with this dummy. Man up... or at the very least, don’t announce your bad behavior and intentions. Karma is a bitch.
I know for a fact that factory reps and techs watch these...
Nada - the way I see it, you have to at least quadruple the time they say it will take. They told me 2 weeks at the last update; so im guessing another 8. In stock means nothing.. could be in stock at a sweat shop deep in a Thai village. ? then it goes on a slow boat, to a ship that sits in the...
Unfortunately I have not, but no surprise there. I ordered and paid for it March 5th. July 29 they said 2 more weeks, which is about now. Hopefully I’ll get it soon, I’m confident the Matte will be exactly like the other trim on the car. You just need to decide if you can wait up to 6 months for...
I’ve had great luck with black high-temp engine paint. I did the tips on my SLP exhaust with my Dodge Charger and after 5 years it was still going strong with no pealing. 3-4 coats and it still looks great. While the tips get hot, it’s well within range of high temp engine paint.
There is no rhyme or reason. I’ve been waiting on a Matte spoiler since March. They reached out last week after I inquired about the status of my order from March. They said they were busy making carbon fiber spoilers and are moving on to the Matte finally. They said another 2 weeks - we’ll see.
Should totally be fine - 3M makes a solid product. I had a replica SRT hood scoop on my Dodge Charger that wouldn’t budge even after 6 years and it saw plenty of track time. You’ll be fine.
Agreed, heat soak is ridiculous in these cars. I was 2 full seconds slower at the track in the heat...it had a hugely noticeable power drop off. You’d think as high tech as cars are these days, they’d figure this stuff out. Add fans, add ducting.. do something; a cooler engine is always a...
None here either and I’m into my second year. It’s definitely concerning since we live in this climate; definitely let us know if the dealer finds an issue. Hopefully it was just a sensor error.
I am still totally in love with my 2020 Absolute Zero color...but I would like to have seen some other new high impact color options...and functional body vents.
Seems the issues are with the carbon fiber. I don’t anticipate any issues with the matte black that matches the skirts etc on the car that I ordered.
I Definitely do the same..this car generates an excessive amount of brake dust - it’s annoying. I was taking the wheels off every couple of weeks for a good cleaning; but now do it by just reaching through the wheel opposite the caliper and rolling it to get the missed spots. I haven’t found ANY...
Hang on to it, it’s only going to get better. Used car prices are sky rocketing because half of the new car plants are shut down due to the microchip shortage. Play the market right and you could make a small fortune. Bad part is you will get hit with a premium on the new car as well since...
Not surprised. Toyota doesn’t sell too many Supras. They typically have 1 dedicated service writer and 1 special trained tech for Supras and that’s it. My Dealer doesn’t even let anyone else touch it, including lot porters to move it. I agree that a larger trusted dealer is the way to go. My...
