At Toyota of Hackensack right now for my first ToyotaCare service @ 7500 miles. I arrived at noon and told it would be a little longer since all Supras are serviced by the shop foreman. It's 2:00pm now and I hope it's not too much longer, it's nice out and I want to go driving! At least they...
I'm signed up for the event at Palmer in October for the free Supra HPDE, maybe I'll see you there! The last NASA HPDE event I participated in got me "promoted" to HDPE2, but I was forced into HDPE1 with the Supra track day signup, which is fine by me.
Normal on the highway so I can actually hear the Jason Ellis Show over the road noise and ASD while getting ~30mpg, Sport mode hammering the fuck out of it everywhere else. Weekend driver, mostly for the touge.
I'm local too but typically go driving in the Catskills/Harriman/Bear Mountain on Saturdays. If I don't get too carried away I'll be back in the area for this.
Nice to see another Supra on the road, sounds great! Also, I didn't realize how awesome the car looks in the dark coming up from behind with these headlights.
After the experience I had with the company, I say yes, wait. Truly amazing customer service which is rare these days. It'll probably sound pretty damn good, too.
York area folks, please check out my acquaintance Shane at SNS Detailing in Hallam, I've been bringing my M3 to him from NYC metro area because I love his work and dedication. Planning to bring my new Supra to him for full color correction detail and ceramic coat.
I picked up a "demo/Pace Car livery" Nitro Yellow with 1000 miles on the clock, the computer was never reset and their average mpg was 28.5mpg, LOL!
Anyway, I scored it for $49,000 + tax, but with 0%/60mo financing, so I technically gave up the $3500 credit. Glad you are enjoying your Supra!
