Did you ever get this problem resolved. I have the same exhaust and was going to remove the fuse in order to have the valve open all the time. But I want to be able to go back to opening and closing the valve if I place the fuse back in, just in case I don't like the valve always open.

Has anyone gotten any CEL codes or warnings pop up after removing the fuse?

You could hear the difference in cold start when in sport compared to normal with the OEM system. You can’t with the Borla exhaust.
